- Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (must be installed on the notebook before installing Audio and Modem drivers)
After installing Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Drivers restart the notebook and install following drivers. - Conexant High Definition Audio Driver
(Installing Audio drivers may result in an error. But continue with the following steps to get the audio driver installed correctly.)
a. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
b. Right click on “Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus” and click Update driver.
c. Select “Install from a list or specific location”.
d. Click Next. Then select “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install”.
e. Click Next and then select “Sound, video and game controller” from the list.
f. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
g. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp34200 folder and select the .inf (wis30b2a) file and click open and continue with the onscreen instructions. - Conexant HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP driver
a. Right click on “Modem device on High Definition Audio Bus” and click Update driver.
b. Select “Install from a list or specific location”.
c. Click Next. Then select “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install”.
d. Click Next and then select “Modem” from the list.
e. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
f. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp33890 folder and select the .inf (wis30b2b) file and click open and continue with the onscreen instructions. - Video Driver

i m using conexant high defination audio. 2 months ago when i formated my laptop, i fixed the problem with directions i got from this site.i appreciate that . but yesterday suddenly my laptop shut the voice when i was watching a video. so i followed the same procedure, it worked but 10 minutes later, same thing happened again.anybody knows why and how i can fix that?

ReplyDeletei need help for my F700.i downloaded conexant hd audiobus driver and followed instructions,then C:\swsetup\sp34200.this fixed my problem for 3-4 min and voice was gone again.i tried to system restore but i formated my laptop after first time my sound card stopped working,so even if i wanna system restore, i can go earliest to the day when i had sound card problem right before i formated my laptop.i downloaded SP32646,SP34152A,SP34386,sp37981,sp36090 but nof them helped meout..anybody has another idea?

there look for any devices with yellow,
right click on it and select properties, select details and on the dropdown menu select HARDWARE ID, post it here
if no yellow mark, get the hardware ID for your Audio and post it here

M facing audio problem , did everything but nothing has worked.
1) Installed MS-UAA,
KB888111 : Download

2) Conexant High Definition Audio Device
DriverVer

3)just want to run the installer to extract the driver files. The driver files will be extracted to C:\SWSetup\SP36090
4)Go to Control Panel > Device Manager. Single right-click on the audio device on high defination bus and select "Update Driver". From the Hardware Update wizard:
5)• Select 'no, not this time' when asked to connect to the internet, click next.
• Select 'install from a specific location' (advanced), click next.
• Select 'Don't search, I will choose the driver to install', click next.
• In the list of common hardware types, scroll down and select Sound, Video, and Game controllers, click next.
• In the next dialogue box, click Have Disk.
• Browse to the folder where SP36090 was extracted (e.g. C:\SWSetup\SP36090) and select CpV30D5a.inf, click OK.
• In the next dialogue, select Conexant High Definition Audio-Venice 5045. If you receive a warning that Windows cannot verify compatibility with this driver, select 'Proceed' or 'Ignore' (or whatever option that allows you to continue installing the driver).
6) When going to control panel ->Sound and Audio device properties ->Harware tab -> audio device on high defination bus
The device status is coming as Reinstall the drivers for this device (code 18).
I tried several times nothing worked pls help

Open my laptop removed the cover on webcam side.. clean the contacts.
when my turned on the power windows automatically detected and installed the driver for webcam101.
