install and restart after that install IDT below AND THEN AUDIO MODEM

If you found the sound was not working after restart, do the following steps

1. Download devcon command line utility, here

2. Extract and copy the file to c:\windows\devcon\i386\devcon.exe

3. Make command line to restart MS-UAA automatically or just download this file or

from command prompt: devcon find pci*

The command line as: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_293E&SUBSYS_306D103C&REV_03"

Notes:

1. The location of devcon.exe is in c:\windows\devcon\i386\devcon.exe if you change it, you need to edit idt.bat

2. "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_293E&SUBSYS_3607103C&REV_03" is hardware ID for MS-UAA, if you found it in a different name change it.

3. Place idt.bat in c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

4. The sound will be restore within 6-10 seconds, because of that there is NO sound of XP start-up

Do manual installation

Go to device manager, right click unknown device,

Choose to update driver, No to connect,

Choose install from a list or specific location, Don't search, Have disk,

Browse to the location of machine.inf.

Do it for the rest of unknown devices

  5. Adakah instalasi MS-UAA berjaya, jika bejaya proceed dengan langkah dibawah
    Ok buka device manager, klik kanan pada high deifnition audio bus, klik kanan dan pilih update driver, pilih "don't slelct i will choose driver to install", kilk next, dan next, browse pada c:\swsetup\sp41693, dan pilih filih yang dihujungnya .inf, jika tidak berjaya ulang kembali dng memilih pula c:\swsetup\sp39671, jika masih tidak berjaya kita coba audio cara yang lain,

  6. Setelah saya install dengan sp39671.exe instalasi gagal dengan peringatan 'Acces Denied'. Ketika saya install dengan sp41693.exe instalasi berhasil sampai pada pilihan 'restart now or restart later'. pada saat ini suara audio sudah bisa didengar. Ketika kemudian saya restart, proses instalasi sp41693 dilanjutkan, dan ketika saya next proses instalasi gagal dan audionya juga tidak bersuara.

    Saya coba ulangi lagi menginstal sp41693 lagi. dan yang terjadi pun sama seperti diatas. Gimana ya caranya?

    Trus masih ada Unknown Device yaitu 1 device location on PCI bus dan 8 device on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
    dan audio device on high definition audio bus juga masih bermasalah.

    Pada Device Manager->System Devices MSUAA bus driver for high definition audio bus terlihat sudah terinstal dengan baik.

  7. Cara installasi sudah diupdate, install kb888111 selepas MS-UAA, restart install IDT dan selepas itu modem, untuk uknown device sila lihat cara installasi untuk 7 unknown driver, juga telah diupdate

  12. Saya baru beli hari ini, langsung install windows xp sp3 memang agak sulit untuk audionya,
    cara dari black-x memang harus di buatkan bat file untuk patch soundnya, cuma untuk commandnya harus di cek lagi di komputer kamu,
    kalo sudah download devcon.exe coba dari command promt lamu ketik perintah devcon find pci* nah entar keliatan PCI beda dengan yang bung Blackx kasih, ini computerku "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_293E&SUBSYS_306D103C&REV_03" nah semoga membantu ....

  17. saya coba manual idt.bat
    c:\windows\devcon\i386\devcon.exe restart "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_293E&SUBSYS_3607103C&REV_03"
    No devices restart

    sound tetep ga bunyi
    saya coba pake kb888111.exe di extract
    idt.bat di startup saya ganti dengan
    C:\patch\kb888111\update\update.exe /quiet
    sekarang sound bisa bunyi

  21. saya mau install xp kenapa selalu blue screen yh pada saat mau loading agreement nya XP?
    boot pertama sih bisa jalan, tetapi setelah selesai yg kita harus tekan f8 langsung blue screen.
    gimana solusinya yh?

  22. Kamu harus membuat CD windows XP yang baru, kamu xakan bisa install menggunkan CD windiws XP biasa. Harus menjalankan process slipstream, jadi untuk membuat winodws XP yang baru baca disini:

  24. Sata untuk compaq cq40 hanya ada 2 sahaja iaitu untuk model Intel dan untuk model AMD. Jadi CQ40-XXXTU "TU" itu ialah model intel, jadi sata drivernya intel:
