    I already installed the VGA, but the lower version of the installer. Now, i have another problem, i tried installing the launch manager, but upon restarting, it gives me an error indicating "..wlanapi.dll not found..."
    i tried reinstalling the application, but still got the same error. your help is very much appreciated. thank you in advance.

    I believe wlanapi refer to tour wireless. commonly happen to D-link wireless. try reinstalling the wireless driver.

    this problems also occured when you upgrade XP to XP sp3.

    btw what version of VGA driver did you use, it may help others too

    anyway, with regards to the VGA driver, i downloaded the driver from Intel website. i just used the "HM55" chipset keyword.

    I too have bought this laptop yesterday.

    Can you tell how can I know that which driver can be used from the dvd provided along with the laptop (on/for winxp-32)and which one I've to download separately from here. In other words, how can I know which driver is already available on driver dvd with me and which one is not (different from Win7 Drivers).

    2nd, my 4736z sticker says 'Intel GMA4500' then which chipset/vga I should go for?

  18. use this one for you vga:
    Intel VGA Driver v8.15.10.2119 (look at my post for the download link.

    just install the drivers you get from the CD/DVD. to check you have all the drivers needed, open device manager (click start - select run - type DEVMGMT.MSC and press ok)
    A device manager will open and see if there any device with yellow mark. If you see that, state the name of the device.

  19. Hello,it's me again.Already purchased Acer 4738z,and still having some problem with Bluetooth things. When i install bluetooh driver then it showed:"No Bluetooth device was detected.Please make sure that your bluetooh device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation" what does that mean? Do i still need BT dongle to connect?

  20. Different place manufacturing different hardware, for example i have 2 similar F700 here, one have bluetooth and the other not. But did u ask the person who sell the notebook weather the it have bluetooth or not?

    another thing is have you take a look at the device manager, see if there any devices with yellow, and the DVD you have, try to look if there any driver for bluetooth.

    by default your model should have the bluetooth

  21. I'm having problems installing Wifi and Bluetooth.

    For both, software reports 'Successful installation' but hardware not found.

    I know that hardware exists (Win7 finds it) but driver is not succeeding in actual.

    I wanted to attach screenshot, but couldn't find a way to do this here.

    my 4738z is under attack by this annoying 'recycled screensaver.scr' detected by Avast.. Every time i insert pendrive or memory card,that annoying thing's keep coming.I already done full scan,but nothing detected.Then i change to Avira,same annoying activities but in different definition- tr/script.314. Please do help me sir to get rid out of this,and i appreciate for your feedback,thank you!

  30. The virus i think is one of the Autorun. inf virus - and i believe dr/delphi.gen dropper behaviour reported by AVira.

    I suggest try malwarebytes and run full scan, there are several way but try this first.

    Just purchased acer 4738z model. i have Windows XP SP3 installed. My wifi is not working, device manager showing one yellow mark "PCI Simple communication Controller"

    Please help me. Do i need any driver to install. I am not sure i have all drivers installed. Also plz provide drivers of aspire 4738z for windows XP SP3.

  35. i have idea to install bluetooth driver when the alert say "No Bluetotth Device".. u just active ur bluetooth for 4738z is Fn + F3 to turn on ur bluetooth. but make sure ur installation is in progress..

  40. How can I make the signs for the hotkeys appear again? When I press CAPSLOCK before, a sign appears if it is on or off. After I reformat my computer, it doesn't appear anymore. Same as when I press FN + F3, etc. Thanks!

  44. hi there, normally if it asked you to switch on you can press the Fn + *key, the *key may refer to F5 so you need to press Fn + F5, you can look at the keyboard which button represent the webcam, the press Fn and the other button.

  48. yang terbaik adalah guna CD driver, biasanya kalau webcam dalam CD tu ada Crystal eye ebcam application bersama dengan syin/liteon etc. Cuba install yang ni:

  67. Fungsi driver adalah untuk mmbuatkan devices berfungsi dalam OS. Jadi kalau bolehh connect wifi maknanya driver tu ok, kalo xleh connect kne carik driver yg sesuai.
    Utk hack wifi perlukan software bukan driver dan mungkin ada diskusi pasal ni dalam forum2 lain, kebnyakan website yg share pun (software hack) xkan bertahan lame sbb akn mndapat amaran dari pihak2 trtntu. Kbnyakan software hack bnyak dalam forum laman web dari cina tp disarankan berhati-hati. sesetngah software mgkin adalh malware dan spyware. Biasanya software ni digunakan untuk mendapatkan WEP key untuk access wireless yg mmrlukan wepkey. Biasanya software ni disedikan untuk OS linux.

    soal terjamin tu sukar utk saya confirmkan, cuma driver ni dari ACER sendiri, saya dah cuba keatas 2 model 4738z dan tiada masalah.
    kalau ada masalah nnt saya boleh cuba bntu, cuma saya xmmpu berjanji krn saya bukanlah pakar tp cuma mmbntu dgn berkongsi sedikit sbnyak yg saya tahu.

  77. Ok, maknanya graphic driver belum dinstall lagi,jadi untuk dapatkan driver cuba install yang saya bagi kat atas tu, kalau tak jadi jugak dan masih menunjukkan standard VGA maka dapatkan hardware id untuk saya dan postkan disini, tutorial untuk dapatkan hardware id boleh baca kat sini:

  83. hi momijet, did u notice what changes you made before the problem happen, (installing other software etc).

    About the audio, did it install successfully but no sound, if yes try to put on headphone and see if there any sound.
    But if the driver not install successfully maybe you need other drivers or the are something wrong with your system. try check in device manager see is there are devices marked with yellow

    1. biasanya perkara ni terjadi sbb bukan xda dvd driver tapi sbb CD wndows 7 tu corrupt file dia (bad cd/bad burn process) dan amat biasa berlaku jika guna pendrive.
      Hal ni jugak boleh disebabkan DVD tu dah xstable (kadang detect kadang2 x)

    1. nope,it is an offline installer which doesn't require internet connection, what is the problem/error with the installtion?, if some file missing or package broken mean you need to re-download the driver, if else kindly explain the details
