Compaq Presario CQ57 Windows Xp Driver


Model: Compaq Presario CQ57 Series

Installation and Notes:
1. Download and Install the drivers by double click on the downloaded driver file.
2. All drivers except graphic and HP Quick launch is the original drivers provided by HP.
3. Wireless and Bluetooth drivers, Choose one from the list base on your specification.
4. For model with AMD Radeon Graphic Driver, normally NetFramework 2.0 and 3.5 is required before graphic installation.
5. For Intel graphic NetFramework 3.0 is required before graphic Installation.
6. Recent fixes: Audio and Ethernet drivers replace with original CQ57 drivers. Graphic drivers links for AMD fixed.
7. I'm sure about switchable graphic function in windows XP, normally i will disable the other graphic drivers and only install the AMD graphic drivers. You can try installing intel HD graphic from Intel website.

    can i have the SATA driver that needs to be slipstreamed in a normal windows xp installation CD to proceed with the installation?

    There are many sata drivers and you must choose base on your chipset.

  11. i have a presario cq62. i deleted most of the realtek audio "stuff". i have system sounds and some video sounds, but video on sites like hulu have no audio. please help.

    1. It happened to me before, just:

      1. update your flash palyer:
      http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

      2. Use chrome browser/different browsers (firefox have this problem when you switch to full screen and also when you switch to normal view from full screen)
