How to solve HP Officejet Printer Driver Unavailable in Windows 10

Windows 10 creator seems to prevent certain HP Printers driver installation. Here is how to fix it:

1. First you need to uninstall the HP Software from your PC.

2. Then backup your registry prior making any registry changes:

3. Update your registry using the Reg file below (that will change some printer related policies for your PC):

Download the file, double click to run.

4. Right click the Start menu and select Run. Type Services.msc and press OK.

5. Locate the Print Spooler service, right click on it and select STOP.

5. Browse to c:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers folder ( You can navigate to this folder easily by right click on Start and select run, then type in  c:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers ).

6. Rename folder W32X86 to W32x86.old   and  Rename folder x64 to x64.old Note: if any of these folders fail to delete reboot your PC and then Continue following the steps starting from Step 4... After renaming it should look like this.
 6. Restart your computer.
7. Reinstall the HP Software and check for any difference

**Be aware that if you have other printers installed on your PC, those will need to be reinstalled too once completing these steps.
