HP Pavilion DV2000 Windows 7 Drivers

There are 2 types of HP Pavilion DV2000, one uses AMD Processor and the other one use Intel Processor. Follow the guide below to install the driver.

AMD processor: Install nvidia chipset and intel rapid storage technology
Intel processor : Install Intel Chipset

ANOTHER STEP TO INSTALL DV2000 Drivers:

You can simply install all your drivers using the original vista drivers. To do that follow this steps:

1. Download you vista drivers on Hp download page.
2. Install all the original vista drivers, ignore the error because it will extracted the file we need into c:\SWsetup which we will need it later.
3. Open Device manager and right click on device marked with yellow and select UPDATE DRIVERS.
4. Select Browse my computer for....
5. Click browse and point to the SWsetup folder.

Normally it will work, sometimes it will not install the audio and graphic. Both audio and graphic base on my experience need a MOD driver instead of using manual installation above.

      You does not need driver for the processor, it is automatically installed.

      The main problem is &REV_1000 at the end of the hardware ID, I couldn't help much because normally it would end with &REV_01 or &REV_02. I had the same issue few times and the only solution is to get different version of windows 7. However you can try with the MOD driver here:

      If you are using Nvidia chipset, install nvidia chipset driver, the packages contain ethernet driver component. If you have an AMD chipset install marvel yukon controller i posted above,

      second I'm not sure about ran, is RAM?
