    Sir, I installed win 7 x64 on my compaq presario V3424AU (AMD). but it not accepting graphics driver of win vista as well as http://laptop-driver.blogspot.com/2010/02/compaq-presario-v3000-amd-windows-7.html
    So can you please provide me graphics driver for win 7 x64.....

    hi there, do you mean after windows 7 installation there are no 2ndary hard drive detected? if that so normally you just need to assign the letter for the partition.

      Click start -Computer - does it show the DVD/cd icon> if yes it may cause from the CD/DVD - try to play with other laptop cause maybe it can read because of CD or DVD faulty.
      CD/DVD does not need any additional drivers to work properly. Windows already provide default driver for it. In case you DVD/CD rom suddenly stop working, perform system restore. Or you also can delete Upper and lower filter at the registry butt this method normally work for vista OS.
      The best way i recommend is try to get new CD (empty or not doesn't matter), play in your cd-rom and if not ok, try reformat it. If still the I suspect the CDrom is faulty.
