ASUS x453m Windows 7 Drivers and Installation

ASUS x453m (Ultrabook) originally released with windows 8, somehow some of use prefer to use windows 7, if you already installed Windows 7 here is the driver you will need, for windows 7 installation tutorial, read installation instruction below drivers lists.

(TXE Requires Microsoft's Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) version 1.11 update for Windows 7 is installed first.)

Wireless
There are more than one variant of ASUS x453m, base on your region, you should have different wireless type. You need to choose one base on your specification. If  you are able to use your wireless, you does not need to install the following driver. If not you need to choose base on your specification, or test whic work for you.(the following list for both 32/64-bit)

If you failed to install some of the driver above or want to get the latest drivers for your windows 7. You can get it from the official vendor site:

Windows 7 Installation:
Before installing Windows 7 you need to make changes in BIOS.

1. Upon start press ESC and select ENTER SETUP
2. On the Advance TAB select Windows 7
3. On SECURIY tab Disable SECURE BOOT

Now insert you windows 7 Disk and you can start to install Windows 7.

      windows vista will run slower than windows 7 and windows 8 so avoid that OS, yes you can install windows XP but the method is not easy, you need to take out your HDD and format it to MBR. Then put it back on your lappy.

      After that Power on and enter BIOS (UEFI). Disable secure boot, and fast startup. Enable CSM (Compatiblilty Support Manager) & change the SATA configurations from AHCI to IDE.
      With that done, you can proceed with windows XP installation.

      Right click on Windows Icon on bottom left corner and select device manager. Look for keyboard, right click and select uninstall, right click again anywhere and select scan for hadware change and continue with new keyboard installation wizard.

    Dear Pak Azis,

    Terima kasih atas kumpulan Drivernya,
    Teman saya beli ASUS X453M, lalu install Windows 7 32bit.
    Dan berhasil memakai driver Bpk, semua berhasil kecuali Wireless / WIFI.

      Anda perlu untuk memperbaiki windows 7 bootloader kerana bootloader telah diinstall didalam flashdik bukan didalam Hard Disk (C). Jadi tanpa bootloader dalam hard disk laptop gak bisa booting ke windows. Ada banyak cara untuk memperbaiki bootloader.

      Cadangan saya:
      Masukkan Windows 7 install disk atau jika pake USB masukkan flashdisk > Pilih keyboard dan Next > Pilih recovery tools… dan Next > Pilih Command Prompt, taip ini pada command prompt

      type > bootrec /fixboot

      setelah selesai tekan enter. Restart dan tidak lagi perlu gunakan flashdisk untuk boot.
