      The best way is to get the hardware ID, the ID can be use to determine the right vendor either broadcom or Intel, but the fastest way is to download both and try which driver work for you, installing wrong driver will not harm your system.

    did not work on my pavilion dv1000 (not driver found)
    I instaled Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS Express Chipset Family!!!
    Any help?

    For VGA/Graphic Drivers: (EASY way)

    1. Download this driver:
    http://www.ezsoft.net/Intel-R-82915G-GV-910GL-Express-Chipset-Family/Download.html

    NOTE: You can't install this driver through Setup in Windows 7

    2. In Device Manager,
    * Open 'Add legacy hardware' or,
    * Use 'Update Driver Software' option on your 'Video Controller' which cannot find drivers in 'Other devices' section.

    3. Use 'Have Disk' option and locate the directory 'win2k_xp142550\Graphics'
    and install the driver.

    4. Restart the machine.

    That's it.. Hope this will help..

    AUDIO was the tricky one. Compatibility XP Sp3, restart in safe mode, uninstall from device properties saying you want to delete the files (VIA stuff), restart the laptop. Conexant audio drivers will be automaticlly installed. Voilla.
    Video also needs XP sp3 compatibility checked.
