HP Compaq nc6220 Widnows 7 Driver


Here i listed drivers for windows 7 base on the model specs, so if you have problems installing it, leave your comments.

update 1: 22th August 2012 -  add new audio drivers.

Intel 915GM Graphics Driver for Windows 7

ADI SoundMAX AC97 windows 7 driver
(if your audio worked, ignore this driver)
There's no official driver for windows 7 , so try this driver (originally XP drivers- MOD)

  7. Sorry for my late reply, for audio, if you still have problems, goo to realtek website:
    http://www.realtek.com/downloads/

    Select computer peripheral ICs
    Select PC audio codecs
    select AC 97 audio codec,

    you will get list of drievrs, select for widows 7 excutable file

  8. thanks for drivers i have nc6220 hp compaq .when i power on of my notebook the display not work after that i push the nearst mouspad and press power button then it comes. it is not loosing problem..whats that tell me please compaq.rehan@gmail.com

  10. after download the graphic driver, extract the files,
    open device manager - click start - on the search box type DEVMGMT.MSC
    There look for our graphic devices (normally shown as standard VGA)
    right click select update driver, select browse my computer for device driver software, browse to the extracted driver folder.

  11. The installation drive of the grapics doesn't work on my nc6220. After unzip he doesn't start up at any button i click..

    if you use compaq nc6220 with windows 7, just download the wireless driver above (there are 3 of them). choose base on your specification or if you don't know which one, download all and try which work for you

  19. open device manager and look at the network adapter mark with yellow, get the hardware ID and post it here

    note: If have problems installing the video driver, try installing the chipset first.

  32. well, it a common problem but several reasons may cause this.

    1 try restore - turn on the power and press F8 repeatedly, if success you can go to safe mode to perform system restore.

    2. Try to insert any boot CD, see if it boot from the cd.

    3. Clean your RAM, open the ram and clean the gold part with eraser. put it back and try to turn on.

    4. Heat- sometime this cause by overheating, so try to put any fan on the left of the keyboard (near to screen)and try to turn on.

    The last thing to expect is faulty graphic chip, if it cause by the graphic faulty, it will cost u a lot

    1. To identify the right driver for the auido, get the HARDWARE ID for the audio and post it here.
