Compaq Presario V3000 (AMD) Windows 7 Drivers

Note for some drivers i separate the downloads for 32-bit and 64-bit, for which figure which one to choose just select 32 bit. This driver applicable for V3000 AMD base Model. For intel model refer here.

Installation for LAN:
1. Extract the driver.
2. Open device manager and look for ethernet controller or network adapter.
3. Right click and select update driver.
4. Select browse my computer for device driver.
5. Click browse and point to the extracted driver folder.

    note at the step 10 select only C partition, then select advance, select format, it will only format C partition, if you don't want to loss any data in C do not select advance just continue with installation. Data in other partition will save

    If you want to connect your phone to your laptop you need to install the software for the phone, some model doesn't need to install but some model requires driver. What is your phone model?

    have you try with other USB(plug in other Pendrive), or try to plug in the pendrive in other USB ports (you have many ports on your laptop), also did your usb port suddenly stop working.
    If it suddenly stop working system restore would solve it and check your device manager if there any devices mark with yellow.

    ok, try open device manager by click start and on the search box type DEVMGMT.MSC and press enter. There if you see any yellow devices, right click on it select properties, select DETAILS and on the drop down menu select hardware ID. post the hardware ID here.

    If your USB suddenly stop working, system restore may help, click start - programs - accecories -system tools - system restore. Select the date where your USB working.

    i think reformating would solve the problems, of course it kinda annoying to format again, there are drivers for the USB installed along windows installation but it seems that your system lost that driver, or some file in system 32 corrupted,i will do my study about it and ill let u know if i find something that would help

    tolong..dvd drive compaq v3700 amd saya tidak terdekteksi setelah kemaren diganti dengan dvd ram dari toshiba/samsung karena yang dvd optiarc bawaan compaq sudah rusak..

    pertama coba buka dan pasang kembali dvd itu. kedua coba ubah registry spt tutorial ini:

    ketiga, buka DEVICE MANAGER, klik pada VIEW dan pilih SHOW HIDDEN DEVICE, jika kelihatan device yang bertanda kuning, RIGHT CLICK dan pilih UPDATE DRIVER

    Ada 2 care leh try:

    1. REINSTALL DRIVER
    Download driver ni
    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45001-45500/sp45178.exe

    kalo direct install fail, ubah compatibility jadik win vista (right click - properties- compatibility -win vista)

    2. ID
    -Try bukak device manager (click start type DEVMGMT.MSC pastu tekan ENTER.
    -Click VIEW and pilih SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES.
    -tengok kat situ ada tak device yang nama dia unknown ataupun USB_Unknown @ bertanda KUNING.

    kes macam ni bnayk jadik bro, bnyak sbb, sbb windows update, driver and system corrupt tu sbb biasa, kalo certain case macam kna bukak and cuci habuk dalam cam baru detect, sbb windows 7 version (home, ultimate), yang aku paling xsuke bila windows install webcam tu bukan imaging device tapi sbg USB composite ataupun katogori lain, jadik ada berpuluh hardware nak cek satu2 memang sakit jgak

      Just download the original vista drivers:
      SP34747.
      It is compatible with windows 7 x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit). Download and install, ignore if resulting in error.

      Next:
      1. Open device manager and look for standard VGA/graphic adapter.
      2. Right click and select update driver.
      3. Select "Browse my computer...."
      4. Select " Don't search I will choose..."
      5. Select Have Disk and point to C:\Swsetup\sp34747 and find the inf file (normally in c:\swsetup\driver).
      6. Select Nvidia Geforce Go 6150 and continue with on-screen installation.

      Note: Some V3000 model use ATI graphic driver, the best way to know which graphic adapter you have is by looking at the specific model number for V3000 such as V3212AU. You can find it on a small sticker at the back of your laptop.

      For your wifi install broadcom wireless LAN driver or Intel Wireless LAN driver provided on the post above (because v3000 have 2 variants, either using broadcom wifi or intel wifi, so you need to test which worked for you). Then for your bluetooth, install
      Support Software for HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology provided above.

    After instanlling graphics driver SP34747 for compaq VPresario win7 32 bit AMD NVIDIA ,Laptop frequently shuts down but runs fine in vga and safe mode.Uninstalling nvidia driver solves everything.How to solve with using graphic driver,
