Some of the original drivers released at ASUS website do packed with windows XP and Vista drivers. Thats why some of the Windows 7 drivers worked with Windows XP.
Just to let you know, the Intel SATA AHCI drivers for XP are the same as those for Win7 which available on the official Asus website. You'll need to attach them to the Windows XP install CD with the program "nLite" in order to install Windows XP on the netbook, otherwise it will not detect your hard drive.
