Compaq Presario V6608AU Windows 7 Driver

 There are no official windows 7 drivers for this model, so here the lists i made base on specification that i believe will work with this model. I strongly recommend IF the audio and wifi already working do not install the audio and wifi driver below. The graphic driver below should work, but if your model use intel graphic driver let me know because for this model only equip with nvdia graphic chip compare to other model which sometimes come with intel graphic chip.

    I installed window7 ultimate on my hp compaq nc 6120 and got some drivers but I was unable to get a driver for video controller which is under other device,how can I get the driver

    Hi Black..

    Above mentioned audio driver is not working for my Compaq Presario V6608AU Windows 7 system.

    I tried all the above solutions method but it didn't worked. i am still getting error message as " No Audio Output Device is Installed"

    i have tried with SP34789 & SP30399 (mod) driver also but still no use :(

    hardware id for Conexant AC- Link Audio is

    pci\ven_1002&dev_4370&subsys_3091103c&rev_02

    also CD/DVD drive is missing on my laptop

    Plese help me.

    I tried the ethernet driver but it's not working. I hve the same model compaq v6608au with nvidia graphics. Pls provide the ethernet driver if u hve with U. Thanks.

      Downliad the nvidia chipset here: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36001-36500/sp36213.exe , set compatibility for windows vista

      Thanks for the reply, then we need to identify the driver first. Post the hardware ID for the Ethernet here. To get the hardware id you can read my tutorial here:
